The main component of the QFinger .NET Software Development Kit (SDK) managing the extracted fingerprint templates. It coordinates the access to one of the supported database platforms and to the application server. It is scalable and can be deployed on multiple servers allowing the construction of enterprise wide fingerprint solutions supporting a virtual unlimited number of users. The QFinger .NET Server defaults to the fingerprint extraction feature always on, however a client can decide to use it or not depending on the desired overall performance.

The physical fingerprint scanner handling component of the QFinger Software Development Kit (SDK) allowing easy and straightforward integration with the preferred QFinger client.

This component interacts directly with the supported fingerprint scanners allowing the user freedom of choice and device independent application of the fingerprint features.

In combination with QFinger Extraction the 'generalize' and 'get features from image' functionality becomes also available.

A supporting component of the QFinger Software Development Kit (SDK) enabling the extraction of the fingerprint image features. This allows the use of lower bandwidth networks (typically Internet) since only the fingerprint template, witch is much smaller than the actual image captured via the QFinger Capturing component, is transported to the QFinger .NET Server for further processing.

The non .NET interface component of the QFinger Software Development Kit (SDK) allowing easy and straightforward communication with the QFinger SOAP Server.

A QFinger SOAP Client license is needed.

A supporting component of the QFinger Software Development Kit (SDK) needed to allow non .NET Windows clients and even non Windows clients to interact with the QFinger .NET Server via the standardized SOAP protocol. This enables virtually every existing client to use fingerprint technology features. The QFinger SOAP Server also brings a solution to accessing applications protected by a firewall. On top of that it is easier to deploy than a COM+ or a .NET Remoting environment.
