Basic Server policies are provided by the User Policies Snap-in, installed as partof DigitalPersona Pro Server, which allow an administrator to configurefingerprint logon settings and restore the use of fingerprints for a user after the account has been locked due to failed fingerprint attempts. The optional Extended Server Policy Module adds the following additional user policies settings:

• User must type a PIN when providing a fingerprint to log on
• User must provide a fingerprint to log on (in addition to other authentication specified by Windows policy setting)
