GetTogether on Smile therapy for more Energy

Posted on June 13th, 2017

Laughter yoga is based on the fact that we do not have to wait until something is happening to laugh: we make sure we laugh. The social and interactive aspect is very important here: seeing laughter encourages laughter! Similarly, the body does not distinguish between an artificial smile or a real smile: the same beneficial effects – both physical and mental – are the result (stimulates blood circulation, lowers blood pressure, relaxes, massage digestive system, easier relativation, …). During a laughter yoga session we do not even strive for a real laugh: it’s fun if it happens but not the goal. Laughing is releasing, in here and now, stop thinking.
